The story so far…

My Thai Kitchen opened its doors on the 9th December 2010 and managed to trade for merely 3 weeks before being devastated by the Brisbane floods.  For such a young business it is amazing that we survived such a calamity, but we did and My Thai Kitchen has gone on to become one of the busiest and best Thai restaurants in Brisbane.

We pride ourselves on all natural and fresh ingredients, not using cheap substitutes and no cheating the flavour like many others that use MSG. Our Food is MSG Free, Gluten Free, Preservative Free, this is how Thai food should be.

We wanted to create a place for people with a gluten intolerance or dietary choices such as Vegan etc to have a place they would feel at home. We dont subtract the good stuff to accommodate your dietary requirements, we choose ingredients that are already gluten free, and many of our meals taste even better vegan; Our Vegan Drunken Noodles is to dye for, and our Vegan Curry Puffs are better than any you have ever had we guarantee it.

Originally we were an offshoot of the popular MyThai Restaurant in Auchenflower but we quickly became our own brand and tried to differer from the main restaurant. For this reason My Thai Kitchen is undergoing a name change to stop the confusion between us and My Thai Restaurant in Auchenflower.  Over the next year we will change our name to Heart Thai Food, but rest asured we are still the same fantastic people cooking the same awesome Thai food.
